NGH “Izzy” Whitbeck has called upon the redshirts to gather in Jean, Nevada, to begin a rolling Candlelight Trek on Saturday, July 25, 2026, 8AM.  The Clampers will review the three plaques there, clean them, and hear a quick review of the history therein documented.  From there, the redshirts will move on to Goodsprings to review and clean the plaque at the Pioneer Saloon.  There, XSNGH and Clamphistorian Hall-Patton will review the history of the plaque which was placed during his 2001 doins.  From there, we will proceed to the Sandy valley and revisit the site of the town of Sandy and its plaque and history.  After this, we will proceed to Pahrump, and gather at the Hub to review the Von Schmidt Line plaque.  There we will hold a HOCO for all PBCs in attendance who require enlightenment, and have a meal commiserate with the needs of the attendees.  Given the amount of travel the Humbug encourages redshirts to share rides to minimize the number of vehicles on the road as some of the route planned will be dirt, though all is two-wheel drive passable.

And for fellow radio nerds, you might catch some of us on GMRS19 or the usual HAM calling freqs. Shout at us on the way in. If you only have a CB, well, you’re gonna have to chat with Large Marge, because that’s the only folks still running CB, you caveman. ‘73

We are now accepting your Gold Dust via ZELLE!  This mechanism saves the chapter a little on fees, and is our new preferred method.  If you have Zelle (and why wouldn't you?), please submit your gold dust to recorder(at)quehoposse.org.  Use the flyer to tally up your total. 

If you can't do Zelle, for this one, just plan to pay for your PBC in person.  Our expenses for this one are minimal, so no real worry about prepay.

Lastly, you can still submit your gold dust by mail, you decrepit old bastard.  If you do, get it in earlay in the mornin'.  Like preferably no later than 7/15
